Independence Dragon Boat Regatta

Description: Time TBD (All Day Event) Come make a splash and row with Team LaborerStrong for a good cause! Rowing on the open water is the perfect activity to keep in shape, lose weight, cross-train for another sport, compete, or recover from an injury or surgery. Because it is a low-impact activity, you can row at any age despite specific physical challenges. Practices are held at Dragon the Boat Practice - Docks, located just East of the intersection of- MLK Drive and Black Road. Practice #1 Tuesday, April 16, 2024, 5:30PM – 7:00PM Practice #2 Thursday, April 18th, 2024, 5:30PM Practice #3 Thursday May 2nd, 2024, 5:30 to 7:00 PM Practice #4 Monday, May 6th, 2024, 5:30PM - 7:00PM Practice #5 Monday May 13th, 2024, 5:30PM – 7:00PM Practice #6 Monday May 20th, 2024, 5:30PM – 7:00PM Please arrive 30 minutes before shove to get PFDs, paddles, and arrange seating.
